DevJuice: If you don’t report the bug in the beta to Apple, it does not exist

To paraphrase some Apple employees: " Radar or GTFO." As many Apple persons are pointing out this week, unless you report bugs (called "radars") to Apple, you are doing nothing to improve the circumstances of which you complain. As Chris Rawson has pointed out repeatedly over the years , Apple's "beta" releases are what normal people would refer to as alpha. On a good day. If they're feeling generous. Apple offers a simple guide as to whether you should or should not file a bug report: the answer is always Yes . Beta participants are encouraged to file radars even when the issue seems trivial, only happened once, seems "obvious", or may be a dupe. Duplicates are never a bad thing — they're like casting a vote. Highly duplicated items appear on manager reports, and various versions contain bits of information that add to the whole. I speak from experience. Apple employees posting on the developer forums may swat you with large trouts to encourage you to comply with filing radars. I should also point out that bug titles are editable, you should explain the bug in the field called "description", and if Apple calls you (hint the phone numbers start with 408, specifically 408-996-1010, and will be more likely this week after WWDC if you talked with an evangelist or engineer), you should probably answer the call. Don’t Have Internet? Stick With the XBox 360 – Microsoft

Maybe Microsoft shot themselves in the foot with this interview based on their newest console, the XBox One. In the interview, XBox executive Don Mattrick says for the people who don’t have an internet connection, Microsoft already has a console for you, the XBox 360. That’s right, don’t bother upgrading this generation if you don’t have internet. Then again, if you don’t have internet, you’re likely not reading this, but the point remains. It’s almost as if he’s talking down to people who disagree with the internet connection requirement. In my opinion, although the XBox One is about as powerful as the PlayStation 4, Microsoft is not doing themselves any good by singling out a group of people based on internet connection. Granted, more people have internet now than when the XBox 360 was released, but there are times when internet connection may be impossible. Luckily, even if you don’t have a constant internet connection, you can always play the Nintendo Wii U or Sony PlayStation 4. What did you take away from the interview?

This is what happens to any people who develop a slave-like mentality to a political entity, they’ll fall in line with just about anything. The non-partisan Washington D.C.-based Endowment for Middle East Truth, a self-described think tank and policy shop, issued a statement deploring the nomination on Tuesday, June 4, the same day that the Republican Jewish Coalition did. The Zionist Organization of America, the oldest Zionist organization in America, was the first out of the starting gate with its long, detailed, public opposition to Power’s nomination on Monday June 3. And on the other side of the ring we have perhaps the most famous and famously wealthy Jewish organization, the Anti-Defamation League, Harvard Professor Alan Dershowitz and rabbi to the Stars and former congressional candidate Shmuley Boteach, all of whom are publicly placing their heckshers on Powers. The Republican Jewish Coalition said Power “has a record of statements that are very troubling to Americans who support Israel.” “In 2008, as an academic who taught at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, Samantha Power suggested that the U.S. should invade Israel militarily to impose a settlement to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and protect “a new state of Palestine.” Her writing and public appearances reflected her views that special-interest lobbies in this country (read, the “Israel lobby”) have too great an impact on our foreign policy in the Middle
MLB Draft 2013: Don’t overthink it; the first round is where it’s at

1. First Round = Golden Ticket Baseball inaugurated the amateur draft during the 1964 winter meetings. It was initially billed as a way of leveling the playing field, stopping teams like the Yankees from establishing dynasties by outbidding their rivals for amateur talent. This was done with Major League Baseball's usual sense of timing — the Yankees had won the American League pennant that year, but they were done, having in fact ceased spending on prospects several years before as ownership contracted expenses on the way to selling out. Had the moguls known, they hardly would have cared given that the main goal wasn't competitive balance but reining in costs by restricting talent's ability to negotiate to one party. The draft was only partially successful at this, as the institution of a slotting system suggests, but over time it did cause clubs to improve at identifying talent. With the ability to cast a wide net removed, teams were forced to get their picks right if they wanted to keep talent coming to the major league team. A first-round pick in particular became an extremely valuable commodity. Prior to the first draft, it was speculated that only two out of 10 picks would make it to the majors. The first round would eventually mute such pessimistic assessments. For example, in each of the 10 drafts from 1999 to 2008 the vast majority of players selected with the first 30 picks reached the major leagues: 1999: 14 (top 10 6

Arsenal keeper Wojciech Szczęsny: Spurs don’t have “enough quality” [Video]

Arsenal keeper Wojciech Szczęsny is known for his brash confident nature and his comments after the Gunners win at QPR have undoubtedly heightened the tension in north London. Having made an excellent save late on at Loftus Road , Szczęsny was interviewed by Arsenal TV and had a stinging rebuke for local rivals Tottenham. These quotes came before Chelsea secured all three points at Old Trafford and Szczęsny admits he thought Spurs had drawn 0-0 with Southampton, presumably failing to hear of Gareth Bale’s late winner at White Hart Lane. Szczęsny: ”I believe (2 wins) will be enough. Look at Chelsea’s fixtures as well, they have Tottenham and Everton left and they won’t be easy games… Tottenham do not have enough quality, so there you go.” Intriguingly, the inflammatory quotes which originally appeared on the official Arsenal website have now been removed. This is not the first time the Arsenal keeper has taken a dig at Spurs, which will no doubt endear himself to Gooners everywhere. Around this time last season, the Pole said he “hates” “that other north London club.” And it would be “fantastic” if Spurs finished outside the Champions League places, which they duly did. Video of Wojciech Szczęsny saying Spurs don’t have “enough quality” is below, with a longer clip of the post QPR interview after.

Hi all, The recent speech to college grads was a great piece of propaganda and written with very carefully crafted meanings intended to strike directly at anyone who attempts to expose the government's true path in recent years. Let's begin our analysis of Obama's speech with the 'meat' of what my thread is about : In response, I will quote a message response I found in the message section at The Blaze on this very topic: Obama to College Students: Reject These Voices That Warn of Big Government & Tyranny May 5, 2013 at 5:11pm In reply to Believe-Receive. Ignore the warnings of corruption, death panels, government waste, fraud, abuse, hypocrisies, failures, lies these are not the problems you are looking for. BRILLIANT! I might make this part of my signature someday. Here is an astute analysis of the speech in parts: Nice read: http://lewrockwell.com/luther/luther30.1.html Paul Joseph Watson of Infowars had a nice writeup in response to this speech: http://www.revereradionetwork.com/ob…vism-w-videos/ To say this speech was anything other than a well thought out attempt to speak against those who point out the govt's infringements on our lives is to say that we live in neverland. Obama and his administration have yet to answer the mountain of questions about a plethora of topics by those like myself. Everything from bullet buys to immunity for GMO's in the courts.
