(Photo: Getty Images) The New York Times published a report Sunday night revealing Barbara Walters is set to announce her retirement on “The View” on Monday. The Times was able to interview Ms. Walters, relating: “It’s time,” Ms. Walters said, previewing the announcement she will make to the national television audience watching her daily program, “The View.” “I keep thinking of the line from ‘Cabaret,’ ” Ms. Walters said. “ ‘When I go, I’m going like Chelsea.’ When I go there is not going to be any, ‘Please can I have another appearance?’ I don’t want to do any more interviews. I don’t want to do any other programs. I’m not joining CNN. This is it.” Like Johnny Carson, another television standout who took charge of his exit from the national stage, Ms. Walters is picking her television end date exactly one year in advance: over the next year she will participate in a series of retrospectives on ABC prime-time news programs and her home on “The View,” seeking, she said, “to say goodbye in the best way.” ABC News confirmed the report in a separate article, the network’s President Ben Sherwood commenting : “There’s only one Barbara Walters…And we look forward to making her final year on television as remarkable, path-breaking and news-making as Barbara herself. Barbara will always have a ho

Adobe Says It’s Going Cloud-Only

Adobe on Monday announced it’s going all-digital, saying goodbye to traditional physical media to better align itself for the future. With Creative Cloud, a subscription-based service, Adobe is betting the company’s entire future endeavors on cloud popularity. Rather than offering nice little retail packages, Adobe is instead making its entire Creative Suite available only through a new subscription model. Right now, the price is set at $ 49.99 per month. To coincide with the news, Adobe announced a series of upgrades for products in the Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and Premier Pro, each of which has been affixed with CC (Creative Cloud), instead of CS. Because everything is tied to the cloud, its services are integrated, and Adobe said there will be a desktop app to help better manage the new environment. Much of the focus isn’t necessarily on cloud features—the apps are still much the same people are familiar with—but will bridge the gap between the web and standalone apps. Adobe will also begin making use of the Behance network it purchased last year, allowing users to showcase their work and get community feedback. Adobe said the focus on cloud will allow it to bring more frequent updates to users; ditching Creative Suite gives Adobe time to work on Creative Cloud, and Creative Cloud only. With that sharpened focus the company will be able to create new experiences and make its products even more valuable. Adobe sai

Filed under: Cambio News %VIRTUAL-Gallery-174997% No doubt you've heard about Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez 's romantic dates–most famously he planned a private dinner and movie viewing at the Staples Center. Classy. Justin knows all too well how to ramp up the romance and win a girl over, and you have to wonder if Sel missed that attention after they broke up. In an interview with GulfNews.com , Justin explained why he's a romantic, saying, "I guess I grew up with my mom, so she influenced me a lot. So growing up and having your mom always around you, you become a sensitive guy." He added, "I think it's up to the guy to be romantic. I think it's the guy's responsibility to take her out. It can't be the other way around. That would take away my masculinity; I feel if that would happen." A hopeless romantic and kind of old-school manly man? Who new Biebs had it in him? So what's in Justin's romantic playbook? He explains, "I think that the most romantic things to do for someone are the things that you spend time on." You won't hear any argument from us. He added, "Like having a picnic where you bring all the stuff they like. You make it something that she's going to remember so she can tell all of her friends, stuff she can say, 'He did this for me!' That's great." Here's Selena talking about romantic Justin in an old Ellen DeGeneres interview: Permalink | Email this | Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez: "It's Up to the Guy to

‘It’s 9/11 All Over Again’: Graham Hits Back At Obama For Press Conference Rebuke On Boston, Benghazi

Barely an hour had gone by since President Obama rejected Republican Senator Lindsey Graham ‘s suggestion that both Boston and Benghazi represent steps “backwards” on national security and there was the senator calling into Fox News to defend himself. Graham hit back hard against the president, calling the FBI and CIA’s failure to prevent the attack on Boston, “9/11 all over again.” Echoing the written statement he delivered before going on the air, Graham did not hesitate to go after the president’s comments. “With all due respect to the president we’ve lost eight Americans to radical Islamists in the last seven months. Four dead in Benghazi. Four dead in Boston, and when you look at each case the system failed.” Pointing to instances in the Boston case leading up to the bombings in which federal agencies failed to communicate information about the older Tsarnaev brother, Graham also drew parallels to 9/11, aided by Fox host Jon Scott . “The FBI did a good job with interviewing him in 2011 but they didn’t follow-up,” Graham said, and when he came back from Russia, “the FBI and the CIA don’t get notified. That is 9/11 all over again.” On the question of whether the president has done “all he can” to find out exactly what happened during last September’s attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, as he indicated in the press conference, Graham said, “not even close.” Graham credited Fox News for continuing to pursue to Benghazi sto
