President Obama spoke this afternoon at the National Defense University. The bulk of the speech was focused on national security, but for a few minutes, the President weighed in on the investigations the Justice Department has conducted involving journalists, including Fox News correspondent James Rosen and the Associated Press . Obama says that Attorney General Holder has agreed to review the guidelines and talk to media outlets, and will report back to the President in July. “I am troubled by the possibility that leak investigations may chill the investigative journalism that holds government accountable,” Obama said, adding that “Journalists should not be at legal risk for doing their jobs.” The full text of his comments on the press are after the jump. continued… New Career Opportunities Daily: The best jobs in media .

The Chicago Bulls were historically bad at offense last night. Not that we blame them — playing without your starters and placing the scoring onus directly on Nate Robinson’s back is bound to catch up with you at some point — but man, they were bad. As in, “No Bulls team has ever shot worse in the playoffs” kind of bad. Here’s a look at their shot chart . This was their total, for the game: For those of you scoring at home, that’s 19 for 74, or 25.7 percent from the field. Carlos Boozer led the team with 14 points — on 3 of 14 shooting! Nate Robinson had ZERO points. The ghost of Richard Hamilton scored 11. The only guy to sport a plus/minus that wasn’t negative was some dude named Malcolm Thomas, who sported a ZERO. In a surprising twist, the Bulls’ defense was somehow more adept at putting the ball in the basket for Miami . Marquis Teague demonstrates: Oy vey. It’s been a good, hard-fought season for the Bulls. Considering all they had to overcome, a competitive second-round series against the Heat should make these guys proud. But a night like this shows how overwhelmed they are at this point. . Payday has come for some of the first responders to the iPhone 4 class action lawsuit . Last February a settlement was reached that granted iPhone 4 owners who had not previously received a free bumper for their “defective” iPhones a $ 15 payout. Several of our readers are now reporting that they received their settlement checks today. The first checks were issued on April 17 2013 and are void after July 16th. Unfortunately the deadline for submitting a claim has passed so if you missed out the first time around it seems you are out of luck. In case you forgot, the settlement found: Apple was “misrepresenting and concealing material information in the marketing, advertising, sale, and servicing of its iPhone 4–particularly as it relates to the quality of the mobile phone antenna and reception and related software.” Apple paid out a total of $ 53 million in the settlement , which was lawyers took a hefty $ 16M chunk.
