Barack Obama blasted President George Bush last night during his interview with Charlie Rose : “We know what it’s like to rush into a Middle Eastern War.” Obama’s attacks would be better if there was any truth to them. Saddam Hussein violated UN resolutions sixteen times starting in 1990 and ending when the US invaded in 2003. From the White House website : Saddam Hussein has repeatedly violated sixteen United Nations Security Council Resolutions (UNSCRs) designed to ensure that Iraq does not pose a threat to international peace and security. In addition to these repeated violations, he has tried, over the past decade, to circumvent UN economic sanctions against Iraq, which are reflected in a number of other resolutions. As noted in the resolutions, Saddam Hussein was required to fulfill many obligations beyond the withdrawal of Iraqi forces from Kuwait. Specifically, Saddam Hussein was required to, among other things: allow international weapons inspectors to oversee the destruction of his weapons of mass destruction; not develop new weapons of mass destruction; destroy all of his ballistic missiles with a range greater than 150 kilometers; stop support for terrorism and prevent terrorist organizations from operating within Iraq; help account for missing Kuwaitis and other individuals; return stolen Kuwaiti property and bear financial liability for damage from the Gulf War; and he was required to end his repression of the Iraqi

Katy Perry’s got the moves like Jagger! The singer surprised fans in Las Vegas Saturday night when she joined Mick and the Rolling Stones onstage for “Beast of Burden.” Check out the video! She excitedly tweeted, "Yes, I just did gyrated on Mick Jagger. Your tax dollars at work… A hidden camera catches wireless company employees passing out ‘Obama phones’ to people who say they’ll SELL them for drugs, shoes, handbags and spending cash. Via the Daily Mail and Project Veritas : The ‘Lifeline’ free-cell-phone scheme cost $ 2.2 BILLION last year alone, all of it from fees added to the phone bills of paying customers. The Daily Mail reported: Undercover video shot in May by a conservative activist shows two corporate distributors of free cell phones handing out the mobile devices to people who have promised to sell them for drug money, to buy shoes and handbags, to pay off their bills, or just for extra spending cash. The ‘Obama phone,’ which made its ignominious YouTube debut outside a Cleveland, Ohio presidential campaign event last September, is a project of the Federal Communications Commission’s ‘Lifeline’ program, which makes land line and mobile phones available to Americans who meet low-income requirements. Lifeline was a $ 2.19 billion program in 2012.

President Obama praised Northern Ireland today for providing the world with a blueprint to solve global conflicts. Obama left the audience with this fluffy line: “Hope is contagious.” Tell that to the Taliban. Here is the transcript : In today’s hyper-connected world, what happens here has an impact on lives far from these green shores. If you continue your courageous path toward a permanent peace, and all the social and economic benefits that have come with it, that won’t just be good for you, it will be good for this entire island. It will be good for the United Kingdom. It will be good for Europe. It will be good for the world. We need you to get this right. And what’s more, you set an example for those who seek a peace of their own. Because beyond these shores, right now, in scattered corners of the world, there are people living in the grip of conflict — ethnic conflict, religious conflict, tribal conflicts — and they know something better is out there. And they’re groping to find a way to discover how to move beyond the heavy hand of history, to put aside the violence. They’re studying what you’re doing. And they’re wondering, perhaps if Northern Ireland can achieve peace, we can, too. You’re their blueprint to follow. You’re their proof of what is possible — because hope is contagious. They’re watching to see what you do next. What empty and juvenile words.

Let’s face it. They’ll only be happy when America is neutered and we’re enslaved or dead. Hollywood liberals released a new video urging Obama to dump all US nukes. Good grief, what naive imbeciles. Zero. Yahoo reported: Alec Baldwin, Matt Damon and John Cusack are among an array of A-list actors starring in a new video urging President Barack Obama to “set the world’s course” for an end to nuclear weapons at next week’s G8 Summit in Northern Ireland. “Some argue that the spread of these weapons cannot be stopped, cannot be checked,” actor Robert De Niro says in the video. “Such fatalism is a deadly adversary,” Damon responds. Whoopi Goldberg, Morgan Freeman, Naomi Watts and Christoph Waltz also appear in the two-and-a-half minute spot. The video was produced by Global Zero, a Washington, D.C.-based grassroots organization whose mission is “to eliminate all nuclear weapons by 2030.” First they want your guns. Now they want the nukes.

13 bloggers from Adana have been arrested for allegedly spreading subversive messages through Internet , in yet another clear case of Erdogan's dictatorial style in which free speech or even thought becomes a crime and democracy is reduced to a mere routine plebiscite. These arrests add to the ones performed against dozens of online activists from Izmir days ago. It has also surfaced now the video in which a riot police shoots with live fire injuring in Ethem Sarısülük, a worker from Ankara, whose death has been reported in the past but who seems to be still alive, according to his attorney Kazım Bayraktar. All the shooting takes place in the first five seconds. Bayraktar has repeatedly requested that the agent responsible for the shooting be identified but the authorities have simply ignored the demand. Source: Webguerrillero [es] ( link 1 , link 2 ).
