If you’re a fan of G rey’s Anatomy or Private Practice , when you hear Kate Walsh’s name, you wouldn’t normally think that personal strife or poverty is synonymous with her name. However, in a very personal video detailing why she’s voting for Obama, the actress talks about growing up poor, and the issues she finds important in this election. Walsh, who currently stars on the hit medical drama Private Practice , has been on the campaign trail speaking out for president Obama, in the quad cities. A few days ago, Kate Walsh took to her own Youtube account to speak out one last time on why the issues surrounding the current election are important to her. In the personal video Kate Walsh stated: “I just wanted to tell you a little bit about myself, and why Barack Obama is so important to me, and why this election is so important to me. My father was an immigrant. He came over from Ireland when he was 4 years old with his parents. He had a pretty hard life. He spent a lot of his time in an orphanage. For the majority of his career he was a union man.” The actress continued to speak about her life, detailing her mother’s struggles raising a family on her own, and the poverty she lived in because of those hard times: “My parents were divorced when I was 6 years old. My mother went back out into the work force. She was largely unskilled, and depended hugely on the federal government program called CEDA to train her, so that she could get

Tea Party-backed Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Ill.), who recently accused his female Democratic opponent of caring more about her outfit than real issues, ridiculed President Barack Obama at a campaign event last week for reaching out to women. A video captured by CREDO SuperPAC shows Walsh speaking to a group of supporters at a campaign event in Lombard, Ill., on Sept. 30. The congressman says that Obama's strategy is to break Americans into little groups — "young people, seniors, whites, blacks, browns, women, men" — and then try to "give them something." "Six months ago, [Obama] was told, hmm, women aren't as excited right now," Walsh said. "How am I gonna get women excited?" A man in the crowd can be heard shouting, "Go on The View!" Walsh then chuckled along with the crowd and continued his impersonation of the president. "I'll talk about abortion, and I'll promise free contraceptives!" he said. The congressman's comments reflect a common attitude among Republicans, which is that the focus by Democrats on so-called "women's issues" is a political ploy meant to distract voters from more important topics. Eric Fehrnstrom, senior campaign adviser for GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney, turned heads in June when he made the comment that women's issues, such as access to contraception and abortion services, are nothing but "shiny objects to distract people's attention" from issues that matter. Obama's outreach to women, of course, is no

Rep. Joe Walsh was one of the latest to chime in on the increasingly frenzied controversy surrounding Rep. Todd Akin ‘s remarks about “legitimate rape” and abortion. While Walsh agreed that Akin’s words were “offensive,” he said he was “bothered” by the GOP response. RELATED: Todd Akin Leaves Open Possibility Of Stepping Down: ‘I Don’t Know The Future’ “What he said was offensive, insulting and wrong, but I’m bothered by this rush to pile on,” Walsh said in a comment picked up by The Huffington Post . “And I’m bothered by the silence of members of our own party to stand up for him.” Fellow Illinois Rep. Peter Roskam said that there’s no one who’s saying Akin is “immoral or incapable” — and that this is an opportunity the Republican Party should not pass up. Per Elmhurst, Ill. Patch : “There’s nobody who is saying Todd Akin is unworthy to serve,” Roskam said. “There is no one saying he is immoral or incapable. He’s not; he made a poor decision. The question is: Can he win in November? … This is an election about a generational change. If we sqander this one opportunity we have, we will all look back and say: ‘Oh, if only.’” “Let’s make the good guys back in control,” Roskam added. “What do you say?” Walsh has been in the minority with his opinion, with high-profile Republicans — ranging from Reince Priebus to presumptive presidential nominee Mitt Romney himself — urging Akin to step out of the race. On Tuesday, Akin adamantly said

In a demeaning rant to supporters, Illinois Congressman Joe Walsh says he wants to pat the president on the head an tell him to go home: “There’s something different on the ground, and I think it’s going to overtake us all again, think it’s going to overtake the political class. I think it’s going to respectfully pick this president up and pat him on the head and say, son, son, son, Mr. President, you were never ready to be president, now go home and work for somebody and find out how the real world works.”

Salon Editor-In-Chief Joan Walsh ignited a firestorm of controversy after she tweeted an anti-Mormon joke at Mitt Romney ‘s expense. Alluding to the Mormon tradition of post-mortem baptisms, Walsh derisively wrote “Romney’s saving the soul of America – so he doesn’t have to baptize us after we’re dead.” Multiple Twitterers took offense at Walsh’s Mormon remarks, and fired back at the liberal writer. After receiving much flak, Walsh walked back her comments, yet continued to criticize Mormons: Eventually, she apologized . ( h/t BuzzFeed )

Watch this video and weep Democrats and all supporters of the secret Muslim, illegal alien known as the 44th President of the United States of America. Watch Republican Joe Walsh give a polished performance which illustrates his enormous, of the scale, intellect. Watch particularly the denial by Clever Joe Walsh that he called Barack Obama a liar. He actually only accused Obama of lying. Then watch the look of terror on his face when interviewer Martin Bashir mentions semantics. Do you think clever Joe has any clue as to what semantics are? Joe Walsh Father of the Year Clever Joe Walsh, possible Tea Party leader (or one of many), won his seat by a massive 291 votes. He is a good father and says: “I won’t place one more dollar of debt upon the backs of my kids and grandkids unless we structurally reform the way this town spends money.” Like all good fathers he pays his wife Child Support he DOES NOT pay his wife Child Support but perhaps spends the money on cosmetic dentistry. In the following video, a slick production for Youtube we see that Joe Walsh is not at all drunk and a display of his onscreen prowess which must have Obama shaking in his boots. This is the video in which Clever Joe Walsh accuses Obama of lying but as he explains later in his television interview with Martin Bashir he did not say that the President is a liar. My take – it was part of it, but not all of it. The GOP fielded RINO John McCain which sealed the electoral doom:
